Westgate Oxford owners announce launch date

The online property information company Costar recently announced the news that Land Securities and The Crown Estate have set a date for the launch of their £440m Westgate Oxford development, which will open its open its doors to the public on 24 October 2017.
In the recent article it says: "The pair, who own the scheme through their joint venture the Westgate Oxford Alliance, said the launch will ensure that retailers benefit from the Christmas trading period.
The 800,000 sq ft shopping complex is over 70% pre-let and in solicitor’s hands following the recent announcement of new high street and premium retailers, including: Mint Velvet, Smashbox, Gant, Hotel Chocolat, Smiggle, Guess, Body Shop, T2, Trotters, Accessorize, Lush and Aveda.
A 140,000 sq ft John Lewis flagship store will anchor the store and a host of names such as Hugo Boss, Jo Malone, Ted Baker, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, & Other Stories, Mac, Joules and Victoria’s Secret Pink have also signed up.
