OFFICE RELOCATION OF ACS International

The American Chemical Society International were based at the Clarendon Business Centre in Prama House on the Banbury Road, Oxford and had been there for a number of years before contacting us.

Serviced business centres are a very good option for start-ups and small businesses who are not intending to grow, but when a business has reached a point where the number of staff involved justifies considering a conventional lease on a suitable property, we are able to help manage the process for the client.

Upon taking a detailed brief from ACSI we began by carrying out a detailed search of potentially suitable office properties in the Summertown/North Oxford area of between 1,000 – 1,500 sq. ft. and identified a shortlist for ACSI to view.

It was agreed that Begbroke House, which formed part of a small development of self-contained offices in Botley, Oxford, was the best solution for their needs and ACSI instructed us to proceed negotiations to agree the most advantageous terms, available taking into account current market conditions.

Having agreed terms, we then instructed solicitors on behalf of ACSI and worked with them through to a successful lease completion.

The space required some alteration/fit-out works and we then drafted a specification of works which was put out to tender and then oversaw the works until completion and when ACSI was able to relocate from Prama House to their new, modern open planned offices at Begbroke House.
